ReplyDeleteIt will never cease to amaze me that humans are capable of beating extreme odds when under pressure (In this case literally). I was so relieved to know that they all survived in the end. Truly a testament to the human spirit and motivates me to press on with tasks I find difficult.
ReplyDeleteI think of how resilient the mind can be when it comes to difficult situations in life. The book proves that humans will keep motivating each other in order to survive and that Shackleton was definitely a great leader that they needed to survive the challenges they did.
