incentives lecture (Rebecca Smith)

The lecture slides on incentives were interesting to learn about because it seems that incentives are a big driving force for people. When thinking of different kinds of incentives it is easy to think about the concept that when the amount of the incentive increases that the motivation to achieve the incentive will also increase and become greater. I can see how incentives play a role in my life even in the times we are living. I work in a restaurant and the incentive I get is more money in my pay and tips paycheck. My incentive increases the more I work.
Incentives and rewards go hand in hand with people's motivation for doing anything. Rewards are like incentives in the sense that it enforces positive behavior in people and offer a good feeling.
