Reproduction

I found the lecture slides on reproduction to be interesting.  I never really thought about what goes through my head when selecting a mate.  I am usually attracted to them at first but more than often I am attracted to personality and who they are as a person.  Once I like who they are and enjoy their company, that's when I start to become more attracted to physical appearances.  I also found it interesting how women tend to select a mate based on their financial status'.  I know that there are women out there who only love the money and all that come with it, but according to the readings, it is pretty common and for a good cause.  Women want to make sure that money is good for when they have a family someday which I can completely understand, I just never thought about it like that.  I am the type to just be happy with who I am with and any financial issues or anything else can be dealt with when the time comes.
