Fear as a Motive
Fear is one of the strongest human emotions and I believe that this is the easiest emotion to condition. Sometimes we may forget some of the conditioning that we have experienced throughout our lives but many times we do not forget about something that we are afraid of. For example, when we are children we may not listen to our parents when they say that something on the stove is hot but when we touch it and get burned it is engraved in our memory to fear this heat. Fear also helps us evolve and learn to avoid and escape dangerous stimuli.
